MASTER'S PROGRAM
Further your education and increase your technical skill in Cosmetology with The Institute of Beauty & Wellness' Masters Program. This 150 hour program will provide extensive hands-on experience with cutting, dressing and color with industry leaders.
The class size is small, so you will be working directly with each of these world renowned artists. The program is designed to prepare you to meet the dynamic needs of the beauty industry by taking your skills to the next level through innovative hands on techniques.
The Masters Program at The Institute of Beauty and Wellness provides an edge in a competitive field, making you much more attractive to prospective employers. The knowledge gained through the studies within the Masters Program will provide a deeper understanding of cosmetology, increasing the value you can offer clients, thus increasing your earning potential.

Requirements
In order to be considered for the Masters Program at The Institute of Beauty and Wellness candidates must demonstrate their commitment to the industry and to furthering their education; therefore, the following documents are required:
- Cosmetology license for the state of Wisconsin and/or completed 1,800 course hours
- A professional resume
- This document will detail the applicant's professional experience, as well as their education and all advanced education they have taken. Preference will be given to self-motivated applicants who seek out continuing education opportunities
- A letter of intent
- This is to be a personal narrative of 1-2 pages detailing why the applicant wants to attend the Masters program, how it will benefit their practice and how they will put the degree to use.
- A letter of reference from someone in the industry
- The letter of reference should be from a Former Instructor, Current Employer, and/or Peer with experience of 5 years or more.
- A portfolio of work as a cosmetologist
- This is designed to show us your talent as a cosmetologist. Please include photographs, guest, co-worker, or instructors comments.
- The following images are required:
- 1 women's cut
- 1 men's cut
- 1 hair dressing
- 1 bridal dressing
- 2 hair color
