How to Apply

Are you ready to begin? If you’re excited about the prospect of training at The Institute of Beauty and Wellness, here’s all you have to do to get started.

1. Complete the Application for Admissions Form and submit to the Admissions office.
2. Take a tour of our facility.  To schedule a tour please call 414.319.7576.
3. Have an informational interview with an Admissions Representative.
4. Take and pass the entrance exam. (If you do not pass the entrance exam on the first attempt, you may re-take it after 6 months)
5. Submit a letter of intent describing your reasons and goals for enrolling in the program.
6. Submit a letter of recommendation.
7. Submit your high school transcripts or a copy of your General Education Diploma (GED).
8. Submit a non-refundable $50.00 registration fee with a contract.

PLEASE NOTE: You will receive a written notice of acceptance or rejection. Upon acceptance, an applicant is sent an enrollment contract. The applicant is not enrolled and a spot is not held in the program until the Admissions Office receives the signed contract. Placement into the program is on a first-come basis.

Transfer Students
Applicants for transfer into cosmetology and esthiology are considered on an individual basis. The Institute of Beauty and Wellness may, at its discretion, refuse transfers if admission requirements, including tuition, cannot be met. The Institute may accept transfer hours at its discretion.

The Institute, in its admissions, instruction and graduation policies, practices no discrimination on the basis of race, religion, color, financial status, sex, national or ethnic origin, age, veteran status or sexual orientation.

The Institute does not recruit students that are currently attending or admitted to another school offering a similar program of study.
