Manicuring

Learn the fundamentals of manicuring, pedicuring, use of equipment, plant essentials and how they relate to the spa end of service. You will study related sciences of anatomy and histology along with safety studies and gain an understanding of nail disorders and sanitation.

Your professional training will encompass three types of learning:

  1. Theoretical knowledge, the foundation of your education
  2. Practical experience, the application of your knowledge
  3. Professional business-building skills, vital for your success

Each phase of your education will emphasize a different combination of these approaches.

Entrepreneur Magazine listed the nail business as being one of the fastest growing opportunities. The 300-hour manicuring curriculum is focused on the complete understanding of all nail care services as well as foot and hand care.

ALPHA

You will learn to use the knowledge gained in theory by applying it to practical situations in the clinics. You will improve your skills and attain a level of performance consistent with the standards of The Institute of Beauty and Wellness.

BETA

Now that you have the necessary knowledge, take this opportunity to sharpen your skills. You will learn retailing skills, customer care and service skills.

GAMMA

Learn the final stages necessary for job placement and interviewing. Fine tune your concentration, skill and speed. You will be tested for skill certification and theoretical knowledge. By completion, you’ll be eligible to become licensed in manicuring.
