Two busloads of IBW students traveled around the Milwaukee area touring several local salons. The students were able to learn about careers at the salon, talk with the employees, meet the owners, and get a behind the scenes look at the locations. Here is what a few of the  cosmetology students had to say about the tour!

“I really enjoyed the bus tour! Most of the salons we saw were really nice and helpful on letting us know how to apply to work there. The bus tour was successful and very organized. Pretty sad it was my last bus tour ever  ”          – Sarah Smith

Thank you to Allen Ruiz for coming to IBW! Allen Ruiz, owner of Jackson Ruiz Salon & Spa in Austin, Texas is a NAHA recipient. Allen has spent over 11 years in the salon industry. During that time he has received extensive training at Aveda U.K., Vidal Sassoon, and Toni & Guy .
